LINDA NANA FREMA NYARKO (BSc. OPM (Hons), MBA, PMP, CMgr MCMI)
FOUNDER & EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
MS NYARKO is the Founder and Executive Director of NAFLIN CONSULT LIMITED. She has strong analytical skills, is meticulous, conscientious, focused, entrepreneurial, flexible, visionary, performance driven, achievement and results oriented and a team player. Ms Nyarko is organised and methodical with the ability to multi-task across several projects and departments; and has excellent time management skills. She is a self-starter who can spot new opportunities.
She is in possession of Certificate in Administration and Management (CAM) with Distinction from GIMPA 2007, BSc Degree in Operations and Project Management (BSc OPM) with First Class Honours from GIMPA 2010, and Master of Business Administration (MBA) with Merit from the University of Leicester, UK 2016.
She is a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and a member of the Project Management Institute (PMI) USA, and a member of the Association of Master of Business Administration (AMBA) UK, she is a Chartered Manager (CMgr) and holds a Certificate in Strategic Management and Leadership from Chartered Management Institute (CMI) UK and is also a member of same.
She leads a team of experts with a rich background and experience in Marketing, Operations, Project Management, Financial Management, Human Resource Management, Business Development, Goods and Works Procurement, Civil and Electrical Engineering, and Hospitality. She has led the NAFLIN team to execute various Electrical Infrastructure and Civil Construction Projects for organisations in various sectors, and Supplied goods, and provided services to various institutions in Ghana.
Ms Nyarko started Naflin Consult Ltd. in March 2011 providing business advisory, training, procurement, travel advisory, and business representation and intermediation services to organisations. She later expanded the service range to include electrical and civil engineering infrastructure works and thus registered a second company Naflin Company Ltd. to handle the engineering services. She added Efal Company Ltd. to supply self-branded convenience products to the Ghanaian market; Efal products are currently being manufactured outside Ghana, but it is hoped that manufacturing will be moved to Ghana in the near future, in order to create more jobs for people of Ghana. Today, the Naflin Group of Companies Ltd. which was registered in May 2016 consist of three thriving and active companies and one (Naflin Oil and Gas Ltd.) yet to commence operations.
Ms Nyarko personally built Naflin from the scratch and was involved in everything from the office layout and setup, recruitment, corporate image, company culture and operational model, human resource policies, product and service developments, and the strategic and visionary direction of the companies. She started the company with one staff (i.e. herself) and has grown the companies to ten (10) full time employees and over thirtycontract staff.
Ms Nyarko’s leadership and direction has led to the Group boasting of clients in most sectors of the economy: including The Energy, Mining, Insurance, Financial, Educational, NGOs, and Government. The Group’s Travel Section is accredited by the International Air Transport Association (IATA), and the Project Management training services is accredited by the Project Management Institute (PMI) USA, Naflin Consult Ltd. is currently the only Ghanaian PMI Registered Education Provider (REP) in Ghana.
The Group Represent, Market and Sell the products of International companies in Ghana, including: DonnelliAlexo (Italy), Sakaphen (Germany), Alfaquadri spa (Italy), Arvensis Energy (India), Project Management Institute (USA), RMC (USA), Zhejiang Kukun Group (China), and CTSS (China).
Prior to establishing NAFLIN GROUP, she worked at Travel King Travel and Tours, Standard Chartered Bank, and Atlantic Works Limited. During her employment at Atlantic Works Ltd, she:
- Redesigned Staff Appraisal System and developed Employees Job Description to support the Human Resource function.
- Developed a Business Operation Manual to support the firm’s operations.
- Designed and implemented warehouse facility and inventory management systems for efficient operations.
- Developed Project implementation Procedures and trained staff in Project Management.
